Laura is a compassionate counselor dedicated to helping individuals and families find healing and purpose in their lives. With a background in marketing from Oklahoma State University, Laura spent 26 years in the business world before answering her calling to pursue a Masters of Professional Counseling at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, graduating in August 2018.
Rooted in her belief that relationships have the power to both hurt and heal, Laura approaches therapy with the goal of fostering a safe and non-judgmental environment for her clients. Drawing from her experience in community health center settings, she has gained valuable insight into helping individuals of all ages, from children to the elderly, navigate life's challenges.
Laura understands the interconnectedness of thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and behaviors, and she sees it as her calling to help strengthen individuals and families by integrating Biblical truths into therapy. Her approach goes beyond symptom management; she delves deep to address the root causes of mental health concerns, crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs.
As an Edmond resident since 1982 and a mother of three boys with 26 years of parenting experience, Laura brings a wealth of life experience and empathy to her practice. She is committed to walking alongside her clients on their journey towards growth, healing, and discovering a life that is filled with hope and purpose.
